The International Body Music Festival was founded by Artistic Director Keith Terry and is a project of Crosspulse, an Oakland-based non-profit arts organization dedicated to the performance, recording and education of cross-cultural rhythmic arts. The 2010 Festival is being produced by São Paulo-based body music ensemble Barbatuques, led by Artistic Director Fernando Barba.
